Seeking replacement of collegium system with democratic election of judges in Supreme Court

 To,

The Hon'ble President of India and The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India,

Please fix the procedure of appointment of judges in Supreme Court as these people control the whole judicial organ and significantly impact how the lower judiciary think and work.

It is humbly proposed to introduce democratic election procedure for selection of judges among eligible candidates and the voting be done at a wider scale comprising of all litigants (citizen in need of justice), advocates, other judges and other judicial staff.

And for these voters to make an informed decision, all the past judgments of a judge may be put in public domain.
I understand democratic selection can be unintuitive at times but there is beauty in collective thought process compared to 3-5 selected people (aka collegium system)

Regards.
Vivek

To the citizens of India,

Most of you have no idea how much power has been assumed by judges sitting in so called The Supreme Court. These people daily make critical decisions which have significant impact on our culture, history and collective future.

These people often interfere with govt decisions, law and policies and exercise absolute discretion in what is to be heard, for how long and what not. We, the people of India, have absolutely no say in how these people are selected and how do they work.

We have no power to make them hear our pains. The justice is openly commercialized by high fees of popular and favorite advocates. Once in a blue moon good judge is hunted aggressively out of the system. We are often disrespected, ridiculed and insensitively discriminated like a slave based on their mood of the day and inherent human biases and fallibilities.
It is time to fix the disproportionate balance of power. It's time to demand ELECTION COMMISSION FOR APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES to reduce any possibility of corruption, nepotism, favoritism etc.
It is time to demand justice from the courts because we have no purpose of existing as a group in absence of justice. It is time to prepare our kids for the war that our grandfathers and great grandfather fought. The war is coming. It is time to pay the debts of the motherland. It is time for revolution.

Regards.
