RTI on live streaming proceedings in DHC

SUBJECT - Application under section 6(1) and 6(3) of RTI Act 2005


Respected Sir,


In light of live streaming of proceedings in High Courts of Gujarat, Orissa, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Patna and Madhya Pradesh, kindly provide the following information under RTI Act 2005 with reference to Honble Delhi High Court.


1. Please share the name, phone number, email and designation of the authority responsible for taking decision on live streaming of proceedings of Honble Delhi High Court.


2. Please share details/notes of any meetings or discussions that has happened for deciding live streaming of proceedings of Honble Delhi High Court


3. Please share if any decision is already taken to allow the live streaming or to not allow the live streaming of court proceedings of Delhi high Court. Please share details/copy of any such decision.


4. Please share tentative date by when live streaming of proceedings in Honble High Court of Delhi are expected to start if the decision is already taken in favor of it.


5. If the decision of live streaming of proceedings of Delhi High Court is pending for feedback and suggestion, please share name, designation, address & email of the authority on whom it is pending, the date when it was sent for feedback and the expected date by when the reply is expected and the tentative date when a decision could be made. 


6. Please share reasons for having separate infrastructure for each HC instead of centrally managed infrastructure by single authority who can roll out any updates and improvements to all high courts in one go. Please share contact details of authority responsible for taking decision to have a centrally managed infrastructure for all courts including all district courts, all High Courts and Honble The Supreme Court.
